IN VINO VERIRAS

The new Vino Veritas series is blown out of one piece eliminating any longitudinal welds on the stem and breaking spots at the end or top of the stem. Considerably much more stable than those manufactured by the conventional procedure such as those by Spiegelau, Schott Zwiesel, WMF, Riedel etc. So, don't blow your profits on breakage!

The glass is composed of lead-free crystal, which is substantially harder and more corrosion-resistant than lead crystal . Their brilliance and elegant looks are no different from that of lead-crystal and create no health risks in contrast to using glassware containing lead.

A sophisticated hardening process is used to finish the rims and makes them highly resilient to chipping and accidental breakage. The glass surface is of almost as hard as diamond hardness and therefore safe against scratching like no other glass . Changes in temperature do not adversely affect this glass .

Designed for industrial dishwashers and they retain the luster even under extreme conditions and after hundreds of rinsing cycles.

Bordeaux

The classic Bordeaux form does more than only do justice to the ideally aged red wine varieties from Bordeaux, Tuscany and the New World. The high, elongated cup with the narrow opening guides the bouquet to the nose in a concentrated form. As the opening is not too narrow, you can also taste the wine on the tip of the tongue so that the first taste impact is characterised by a fruity sweetness. In that way, the bitterness is taken out of wines with a high tannic acid content. The ripeness and the taste of red wines aged in barrique casks show to full advantage.

Burgundy

The Burgundy glass hides tanning agents and acid. Therefore it is particularly suitable for all wine varieties of the Burgundy family (e.g. Sauvignon Blanc, Nebbiolo from the Piemont, but also robust Chardonnay, Grey Burgundy, White Burgundy or white wines aged in barrique casks). Due to the large diameter of the glass, the wine is able to breath and the taste developes. More expression is given to fullness and complexity.

Chianti - Universal Glass

The classic and very versatile red wine glass is particularly suitable for robust, young red wines. Due to the narrow, high tulip-shaped form, however, youthful, strong white wines are also accentuated in particular and get a refreshing and revitalising taste.

Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc

As the name already tells us, this glass is the best glass for all types of Riesling wines and classic Sauvignon Blancs. These wines normally have a relatively high acidity. The lip of the glass produces the effect that the tongue first tastes the sweet, fruity mellowness, while the fruity primary fragrances are concentrated due to the dimensions of the glass.

Dessert Wine, Ice Wines, Sauternes

You only sip at sweet dessert wines. The relatively small cup fits the small quantities in which you enjoy these wines. The wine flows over the tip of the tongue to the edges of the tongue so that the extraordinary fullness of flavours is perceived more strongly, but the residual sugar is not enhanced. This glass is also ideally suited for port.

Schnapps, Grappa, Calvadas

The tulip-shaped glass guarantees an ideal development of the volatile fragrances that are compressed through the taper of the glass due to its bulbous “scent space”. The exactly adjusted lip serves to keep the nose at a distance so that it is possible for you to breathe it in extensively and meticulously in order to enjoy all flavours.

Champagne, Cava, Sparkling Wine

The timeless and beautiful champagne glass underlines in particular the variety characteristics of fully developed, famous champagnes. It has a pulled-up form so that a mousse (froth) can form. The perlage (the bubbles that rise up) is clearly visible. The presentation is also important for the taste. Our temperature-sensitive lips can feel the refreshing coolness of the wine. Sparkling wine, Prosecco and Frizzante also sparkle particularly beautifully in this type of glass.

Beer glass

The specifically adjusted form of the glass brings out the slightly dry notes of beer varieties in an ideal way. The head shows very much to advantage. The thin drinking rim emphasises the refreshing character of beer.

Water

In tune with the wine glasses, particular care was taken that it fits in well on the laid table. A perfect complement to mineral water and soft drinks.

Chardonnay

This ideal glass for white wines can also be recommended as an “all-rounder” for every wine tasting session. It is also the right glass for dry rose wines.
